About Werk

In a decade working in tech, Amber Tennant helped teams across rapidly growing companies do more, better, than they thought was possible. She loves untangling organizational challenges, and helping people define and surpass their objectives. 

That's what led Amber to found Werk and focus on supporting leaders of scaling companies. She’s served in leadership roles with Facebook, Code2040, and Coursera, managing functions ranging from people ops and recruiting, to internal comms, customer support, product operations, and community management. She knows how to dive in and make an impact across a wide range of functions and different stages of company growth.

Amber draws on both her on-the-ground experience as an operator and her formal education (BA and MBA from Stanford, as well as a teaching degree). She believes in building equitable and diverse organizations that get results and helping others to do the same.
